Between the Wars is a poignant drama that charts the relationship
between an asylum seeker and a war veteran living on the same council
estate in London.
Initial hostility makes way for an unlikely friendship as they realise they are both the victims of wars.
Emily Woof wrote and performed SEX II and SEX III ("Fringe First"
Edinburgh Festival, Daily Express New Comers Award, Perrier Pick of the
Fringe). She also wrote and performed ANNA SUSANNA (with Ellen van
Schuylenburch) for The Royal Festival Hall, London.
For BBC Radio, she has written four plays - PIANOMAN, THE BIGG MARKET, THE PROPOSAL and BABYLOVE.
She has also starred in such films as, VELVET GOLDMINE (dir. Todd Haynes) and THE FULL MONTY (dir. Peter Cattaneo)
